The University’s Library System took part to the training course-trip arranged by the Italian Libraries Association - Emilia Romagna section, with the ultimate goal of introducing all the different library institutions in Seville: public libraries, academic, conservation and clerical ones.
The spanish librarians in charge, illustrated the territorial network, the many services and the different activities of promotion and valorization. The experience moved the debate participants and the spanish colleagues, allowing the opening of a constructive dialogue with Seville’s library community.
During the regional assembly of AIB Emilia-Romagna members and friends on April 17, at the Music Library in Bologna, participants in the training trip-course presented the different realities. (programma.pdf).

For the celebrations of Copernicus, the Library System helped to prepare the exhibitionWalking towards the stars. Copernicus and Renaissance Europe organised by the University Museum System. Made available for the event was the original text Pars prima operum Felini Sandei. Felini Sandei ferrariensis ... in quinque libros decretalium, commentaria eruditissima, nouissime autem omnia nunc summa diligentia in lucem emissa (Lyon, 1548) from the Law Library's ancient collection, restored in 2018, and it was also made possible for the public to consult the virtual exhibition Masters of law. Participation in the Master's Degree in Archives, Diplomatics and Paleography (A.Di.P.), run at the University of Ferrara by Professor Sandro Bertelli. From the 4th cycle (Academic Year 2022/23) withLibrary and Special Collection Management (taught by Dr. Marina Contarini, shared with Dr. Anna Bernabè).
The course aims to address the many technical and organisational aspects of planning and managing the documentary resources and services offered by libraries to support research and teaching. It also provides methods to characterise and describe printed publications with ancient typography.
