For the feast of St. George, the patron saint of both Ferrara and Barcelona, and the 700th anniversary of the death of Dante Alighieri, the Unife Library System and the Centre de Recursos per a l’Aprenentatge i la Investigació (CRAI) at the Universitat de Barcelona collaborated in the initiative La festa di San Giorgio. Da Ferrara a Barcellona / La Diada de Sant Jordi. De Ferrara a Barcelona with the creation of texts and a bookmark that provided the opportunity to promote a limited edition anastatic reprint from 1972 of the Divine Comedy, part of the Collection of Hon. Preti (Law Library).

The University of Ferrara Centre for Documentation and Study of the European Union created a series of 5 videos titled The future of Europe ... beyond the Conference. Short videos for public debate on the main challenges awaiting Europe, from the European Green Deal to the new Pact on Migration and Asylum and made them available to all as educational tools. The initiative was part of the project "Towards the Conference on the Future of Europe. A new push for European democracy", and was created with the contribution of the European Commission's Representation in Italy, in collaboration with the Unife Law Department.
