History in brief
The Library was established in order to complement the activities of exhibition, teaching and research connected to the "Piero Leonardi" Palaeo-anthropological Museum.

Collection
At the moment the collection owns around 5.200 monographs and 300 periodicals (both the currently active ones and the ceased ones). An extensive miscellaneous collection of extracts is also available.
