Trittico civico - A joint event by Ferrara OFF and the University Library System
A site-specific performance in three stages, originating from research on texts, memories, and records held within the University Library System collections. Through these sources, a journey through the Italian twentieth century takes shape, highlighting the long and complex human and political path underpinning the values of freedom, participation, democracy, and citizenship.
Free admission by booking only; meet at 7 pm at Via Voltapaletto 11, Palazzo Bevilacqua Costabili.
The audience will be divided into three groups and accompanied to three venues at the University of Ferrara to take part in three mise en éspace:

Una scuola per la libertà. Viviani e Ticchioni dal Liceo Ariosto alla Resistenza, on the lives of Prof. Francesco Viviani and the student Ludovico Ticchioni, figures linked to the history of the Liceo Ariosto and the Resistance (at the Department of Economics and Management, Via degli Adelardi 33);
Centralità della persona e ripudio della guerra. Dal Manifesto di Ventotene alla Costituzione italiana , on the Ventotene Manifesto and the work of the Constituent Assembly that led to the Italian Constitution, the 80th anniversary of which is being celebrated (at the Department of Humanities, Via Paradiso 12).
