La Biblioteca di Matematica e Informatica, in occasione della mostra “Émile Borel, un matematico plurale” a cura dell'Institut Henri Poincaré di Parigi e allestita presso il Dipartimento di Matematica e Informatica, ha selezionato alcuni fra i testi del matematico francese presenti nella collezione.

| History in brief The Mathematics and Computer Science Library is a separated section from the Science and Technology Library. |

| Collection The Library's collection was developed in relation to the research conducted at the Mathematics and Computer Science Department in the fields of Pure and Applied Math, of the Didactics and History of Mathematics and Computer Science, and to correspond to teaching activities in the fields of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science. The collection includes more than 22.000 documents of which 143 periodicals print+online by subscription or gift and exchange with the University's Annals. Section 7, Math Sciences, as well as counting numerous ancient and valuable texts that constitute the Mathematics Book Fund which is part of the Collections of Historical Interest of the University of Ferrara. |
